Rockport is located 30 miles north of Corpus Christi on Texas Hwy. 35. The Rockport area has a character and culture unique to Texas and the entire country. Artists have been drawn to the picturesque community of Rockport/Fulton since the 1880's.

    The first Rockport Art Festival was held in 1970.  The show has grown to include over 120 fine artists and master craftsmen.  On July 4th and 5th artists will exhibit their finest artwork in a gala tented atmosphere on the festival grounds adjacent to the Rockport Center for the Arts. Thousands of visitors flock to the outdoor festival each year to enjoy and purchase fine art and fine contemporary crafts.

    In addition to the art, Rockport Art Festival offers continuous entertainment, children's art activities, great food, cold drinks, warm bay breezes and plenty of parking. All of this combine to make Rockport Art Festival one of the best in the nation.
