The works on this web site are all the creative efforts of American Artist Thom Evans projecting the feeling and emotion from his view of life. For more then 30 years "E" has made his life the "ARTS"------with free expression in various media forms consisting of film, photography, and painting. The paintings that follow are his most recent works in oil and water media. E moved to Rockport, Texas, in 1996, where wealth of new inspirations surprised him. He especially admired the magnificent live oak trees growing near the coastline of Aransas Bay. Shaped by prevailing southeast winds, they had become living sculptures, each with an individual dramatic posture of shape and style. E’s fascination with these unique trees developed into a new focus for his paintings. They have become an inspirational vision of life in motion. |
